Available on Fusion Express drum mixers. A Viton lip seal pedestal is mounted to a drum via a 2” NPT bung fitting. Its purpose is to provide a barrier between the drum’s contents and the exterior environment by eliminating batch contaminates and containing vapors during processing.

Its purpose is to provide a barrier between the drum’s contents and the exterior environment by eliminating batch contaminates and containing vapors during processing. FDA-approved Teflon seals are most common when sanitary requirements are present.
Our 32Ra finish on stainless steel wetted mixer parts is both sanitary and easily-cleanable. ‘Ra’, stands for “roughness average”. Welds are ground smooth, all surfaces are polished, then verified by a profilometer reading.
Filter/Regulator/Lubricator (up to 3HP) - Our filter/pressure regulator/lubricator (F/R/L) provides clean air with an appropriate amount of oil for motor lubrication, while regulating the maximum pressure.
